SYSA Spring Soccer Information
Spring Soccer games are played on Sunday and any child 7 years or older is invited to play. Spring Soccer is primarily designed for whole teams. Individual players who want to play should try to find a spring team in their club, a spring team on which their friends are playing, or form their own team and get a parent to register the team.
The season typically starts around the end of March and completed by mid-June. The intent is for this league to be informal, allowing players to have some soccer experience during the "off" season. No practices. No win-loss records. Just enjoy a Sunday afternoon game.
Please Note: Playing on a spring team does not affect your fall soccer team. On occasion, players find new friends to play with during the spring, and want to play with them again in the fall. Most SYSA clubs, including Queen Anne Soccer Club, do not permit this kind of player movement in the fall as it comes very close to looking like select soccer. Recreational teams must be formed by club registrars in order to preserve the "non-select" nature of recreational soccer.
The Seattle Spring Soccer League recently completed it's eighth year of existence.
