Introduction The Queen Anne Soccer Club provides an opportunity for the youth of Queen Anne to participate and develop in the game of soccer within a fun and safe environment, promoting individual skills and fitness, team play, sportsmanship and a passion for the game. For answers to most parents questions please refer to Frequent Questions Dates of the Season Generally, the soccer season runs from early September through November with most Association teams (U11 and up) competing in the Seattle City Tournament into December. In addition to the regular season in the fall, Club teams also participate in the Spring Soccer program. See the Seattle Spring Soccer web page for more information.
Coaches Our coaches are volunteers from the community. Parents, former soccer players, as well as volunteers with no organized soccer background, take great pride in working with their teams. In addition to personal experience, coaches are encouraged to attend coaches training sessions conducted by our club. In addition, there are formal clinics available for coaches to further develop their coaching skills. If you are interested in becoming a coach, please contact us at qasoccer@gmail.com.
Club Finances We are often asked about how we spend the money we raise through registration fees and fundraisers. A budget is established each year by our Board of Directors. We use the bulk of our funds to pay for insurance, league fees, uniforms, and equipment.
